Business Card CD ROM

The rectangular business card CD offers the ultimate presentation tool. Combining the portability of a traditional business card with the unlimited possibilities of multimedia.

With the Digital Business Card you are now capable of carrying complete multimedia presentations bearing your brand identity, text, video footage, commentary, animation, websites, e-mail and photographs can be accessed via your computers CD-ROM drive.

The card can present your web-site off-line or enable you to connect directly using the dial up facility, and can turn your business card into an interactive company brochure or product catalogue.

It has rapidly gained acceptance as the "preferred" shaped card due to its similarity to the business and credit cards currently used.

It uses CD technology and fits into the CD or DVD player of any standard computer including both PC and most Mac formats.

We offer two types of printing facilities for the business card ROM

¨ Screen Printing
¨ Offset Printing (Litho)

We can print any design on the face of the business card by using process colours (CMYK) or spot colours that comply with the standard Pantone reference catalogue.

To decide on which print process to use really depends the quality of the image required. The most common method is screen-printing for text and logos but for a higher definition, i.e. photographic image, it would be suitable to use offset print (litho).

In certain circumstances, it is necessary to print a white base on the silver surface of the CD in order to obtain a true representation of an image.

We have a comprehensive number of packaging options for Business Cards - either bulk, Jewel Case, shrink-wrapped or in plastic wallets.

Our IT-Cards are manufactured in specially developed moulds, which ensure the highest levels of reliability and finish. We have a choice range to suit any Card project:

IT-Card 30: Size 85 x 58 mm. Rectangular card. Capacity: 30MB of user data, or 3'20" of audio.

IT-Card 35: Size 85 x 58 mm. Rectangular card. Capacity: 35MB of user data, or 3'58" of audio.

IT-Card 40: Size 80 x 60 mm. Round-edge Rink card. Capacity: 40MB of user data, or 4'30" of audio.

IT-Card 50: Size 80 x 64 mm. Round-edge Rink card. Capacity: 50MB of user data, or 5'40" of audio.

IT-Card 65: Size 80 x 65 mm. Round-edge Rink card. Capacity: 65MB of user data, or 7'20" of audio.

IT-Card 77: Size 89 x 64 mm. Rectangular card. Capacity: 77MB of user data, or 8'45" of audio.

IT-Card 80: Size 80 x 66 mm. Round-edge Rink card. Capacity: 80MB of user data, or 9'05" of audio.

IT-Card 100: Size 85 x 68 mm. Rectangular card. Capacity: 100MB of user data, or 11'20" of audio.

Print options: 4 colour litho or 4, 5 or 6-colour screen prints
